Over the past two months, one of the things that I have noticed that is evident within the staff is the community. Even starting my very first job from my desk in my room, meeting my co-workers through a computer screen, I felt the love that the staff had for each other. While we were working from home, the staff started every morning going through the gospel of John through Zoom led by our Head of School, Mary Jo Kynerd. We would listen to each other's thoughts, prayer requests, and updates going on in each other’s lives. I think for everyone, it made it more of a community rather than just a job. It is refreshing to know that Foundations continues to love one another through these crazy times.

This verse in Hebrews stuck out to me: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25) I love the thought of encouraging one another in a rich community in The Word with those around you. We are loving people where they are just as God does for us. We should be constantly spurring one another on, directing them towards the Father in love and good deeds. The staff at Foundations has done just that. We are equipping each other in The Word as we equip our students in the same way. We are able to do this through the very generous gifts of our donors during this crazy year. This year, we updated our Amazon Wish List to entail needed materials for our classrooms. We are also starting a GivingTuesday campaign to reach a goal in order to help fund our future multi-purpose room. The Lord has proved His Faithfulness time and time again through our donors and those constantly supporting and praying for our ministry. Thank you for being a part of our Foundations community. Be with us as we spur one another on.
