Greetings Friends of Foundations,

Fall semester has kicked off! We covet your prayers for our faculty, staff, students and parents. We believe in the power of prayer and feel that God is calling us to prayer more this year for Foundations. We are asking you who are involved with Foundations to JOIN US in either PRAYER CHALLENGE ONE or TWO.

Thank you so much for your partnership with us as we reach the next generation for Christ. I look forward to seeing you for one of the most important things Jesus would have us do to further His kingdom.

Yours In Christ,

Peggy Monroe

PRAYER CHALLENGE ONE: Pray for a Pupil… Parent!

We are starting a new prayer format to make sure each student and parent is covered in prayer by name each week of the school year. A prayer partner would pray for their person weekly (or more often is certainly welcome) from home. The prayer committee will match you with a student or parent (or both). You will receive monthly prayer request updates and praises.

We ask that you would prayerfully consider joining us this year in praying for our families. If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a prayer partner, please sign-up below. The prayer committee will match you with a student or parent.

General prayer guidelines for students for September: Pray for their parents and teachers, joy about being at school, listening ears, obedient hearts. That they would know that Jesus loves them, health so they don’t miss school, and whatever God leads you to pray.

Scripture for this month: Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6

General prayer guidelines for parents: Pray for growth in their relationship with the Lord, peace in family relationships, wisdom and love for raising their children, time and resources to meet all of their needs.

Scripture for this month: “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,…that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith-that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

We ask that you would prayerfully consider joining us this year in praying for our families. If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a prayer partner, please sign-up below.

PRAYER CHALLENGE TWO

The Prayer Team for Foundations meets every 2nd Friday of the month at 10:30 in Room 205A at Briarwood Presbyterian Church for one hour. We use that time to pray not only for our students and parents, but for our faculty and staff prayer requests.

We would like very much for you to join us for prayer during this time. If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a prayer partner, please sign-up below.
